Eleven Nguyens and the Thirty Year Loss - June 23

This is an event definitely worth checking out, I will for sure stop by sometime to see Trong's latest curatorial efforts. Always bringing together a diverse collection of new, emerging and sometimes established artists, Trong has selected artists for this show who arbitrarily share the same most common Vietnamese surname Nguyen. They were asked to produce work specifically on April 30th that encouraged personal reflections of that significant day. Surprisingly the 30 year anniversary of the end of the war went rather unremarked upon. Maybe we are ready to move on?

We will be at this show. We are driving from Illinois..We would not miss this event since we are friends/fans of Stephen Nguyen. We are looking forward to the Opening and the city. Can't wait to see what Stephen and the other Nguyen artists have produced.
