Silent H
Went out to Williamsburg for lunch today and met Vinh Nguyen, the new owner of the latest banh mi purveyor, Silent H, to hit the scene. I also met his mom, who is in for the week helping out at the restaurant. Today she was demonstrating how to properly wrap goi cuon. The banh mi was suitably impressive - fresh ingredients, grilled pork that was not cloyingly sweet and good bread. We did try the goi cuon, I normally never order them but you can't beat a freshly wrapped summer roll.
