Banh Chung - YUM



Who doesn't love this ubiquitous New Year's tradition? My mom makes her own every year. I try and make it home for the day long event but don't always manage the trip. Pork nestled in mung bean paste covered with sticky rice and then all wrapped up in banana leaves is a combination that just can't be beat. We always eat it with thit kho, cha lua or lap seung.
